Acupuncture
Dawn Pivec

Dawn started her career as a therapist after receiving her first master's degree from Hazelden Graduate School. She worked for seven years treating men, women, and youth with addiction and mental health issues at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Pride Institute, and Lino Lake Prison. During that time she yearned for a medical system that incorporated natural healing and received her second Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2016. During her career as an acupuncturist, she has had success treating hundreds of patients with complex medical issues.

She is board certified and licensed by the Minnesota State Medical Board. She has experience giving acupuncture treatments at Salvation Army, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center, Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, Fairview Hospital, Bloomington Natural Care Center, Pathways Health Crisis Resource Center, Fertile Ground Natural Care, and she is the owner of Merriam Park Acupuncture, a large clinic in St. Paul.

When she's not enmeshed in the endlessly awe-inspiring study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, you’ll find her playing with her sweet little toddler-- the love of her life.

A lifelong practitioner of Hatha Yoga in the Himalayan tradition, Laura holds a 200-hour teacher-training certification from CorePower Yoga Minneapolis (2007). She began teaching NIA—a blend of dance, martial arts, and healing arts—after completing White and Green Belt trainings in 2021. As a certified Menopause Support Coach, her focus in classes, workshops, and 1:1 coaching is on bolstering women's physical strength, mindset expansion, and inner exploration.

Laura's passion lies in guiding people to uncover their fullest potential and embrace lives filled with joy. When not working, she treasures time with family, travel, and indulging in all things ice cream.

Acupuncture
Ingrid Bloom, L.Ac.

Ingrid began her studies of Chinese medicine many years ago, having discovered its transformative healing effects first hand. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and religious studies from the U of MN and worked in the mental and chemical health field for many years. Feeling discouraged with the limitations of the biomedical model and wanting to do more to help people on their healing journey, she became certified in shiatsu massage, a Japanese form of bodywork based in Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.

In 2004 she completed her studies in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at AAAOM in Roseville MN. In addition to Chinese medicine, Ingrid has a passion for learning and practicing a wide array of mind-body and energy healing techniques. She utilizes her broad knowledge base to enhance her acupuncture sessions, applying her intuitive insights into the session and applying what is needed to achieve lasting results.

Ingrid loves being in natural surroundings and in her spare time she can be found in the woods hiking or on lakes canoeing. She also loves the arts and creativity, and enjoys playing piano and painting the occasional watercolor.
